On the 15th of March 2014 Troy was elected as the member to represent the Mount Gambier Electorate in South Australian Government.
Having lived in and around the Mount Gambier Electorate for most of his life, Troy understands the local issues and priorities that residents in the electorate face.
He has strong links to the community and understands the local priorities, always willing to listen to the ideas and opinions of others. Troy has been, and will continue to work tirelessly focusing on issues that are of great significance which help strengthen and develop our region.
Troy has experience as both a businessman and an educator, and as a father of three is a family orientated man whose enthusiasm and work ethic was displayed in the establishment and management of the Independent Learning Centre in Mount Gambier.
He is passionate about backing business to create jobs, easing cost of living pressures and supporting regional South Australians. He also strongly believes that youth are the key to our regions success and need our focus.
Since 2014, Troy has kept many of his promises. Mount Gambier has now secured a long-awaited MRI machine which not only boosts the regions current health services but eradicates the inconvenient and expensive travel which residents undertook previously. Additionally, Troy has worked hard to implement traffic lights at the notorious Penola Road and Wireless Road intersection and is always looking for new ways to continue progressing the Mount Gambier electorate.
Troy looks forward to sustaining a prosperous and secure future for regional South Australia.
